Introducing the AOP’s successful Breakfast Club series from 2021, with AOP Photographer and board director, Carol Allen-Storey.
Carol invites a panel discussion with her guests from the 2021 programme to take a look at where we all are post-COVID, how they coped and what they are looking towards.

Carol Allen-Storey is an award-winning photojournalist specialising in chronicling complex humanitarian and social issues. Her imagery illuminating people’s dignity and quest for survival reflects the unique trust and respect she engenders with her subjects www.castorey.com
Jillian Edelstein an award winning portrait and documentary photographer.
She is an Honorable Fellow of Royal Photographic Society. Her book Truth and Lies: Stories from South Africa’s Truth and Reconciliation Commission was published in 2002 by Granta and won her the Kobal Book Award & the Visa D’Or. The National Portrait Gallery have collected over one hundred of her portraits. In 2018 she was Included in The Royal Photographic Society’s list of 100 international Photographic Heroines.
She is currently finishing two feature documentaries: ‘The Water Rats’ about cold water swimming during Lockdown and ‘Impossible Norman’ about the BiPolar afflicted, Academy Award nominated American screenwriter, Norman Wexler.

Jermaine Francis is a London based Photographer.
His practice works within, Documentary & Portraiture, in the format of personal driven Photo projects & Editorials, exploring the issues that arise from our interaction in the everyday environment. Jermaine has published two books, Something that seems so Familiar in 2020 & 2021 Rhythms from the Metroplex, & is currently working a on new book with publshers Here Press.
His work can be found in publications such as I-D, Beauty Papers, Autre Magazine, Twin, 10 Magazine, Sixteen Journal, More or Less Magazine, Office, Wall Street Journal, Disegno.
