I shot these portraits for Many Tears Rescue in Wales @manytearsrescue
Focusing on the old and less attractive myself and MimQuinn Harkin @mimqh , made a set. On site ( in the torrential rain .)
I wanted to photograph the senior and long stay residents to show their beautiful souls despite their age and distance from puppyhood. It was a really rainy day and we set up in a barn, the dogs were angels. Despite the fact some have been used for breeding all their lives or suffered sad circumstances to arrive in rescue they were so loving.
Heartbreaking.
All beautiful souls waiting for a home.
