"First of all I think lifestyle is always a hugely broad category. When I describe it to other people I sometimes say it is any photograph with a person it that’s not fashion. But we had a really diverse set of entries this year. And while we had some brilliant entries some of then we felt actually weren't really lifestyle category were a bit too documentary in format or were a bit too similar to portraiture. So we tried to stay focused on things that were lifestyle, so staged moments that are meant to look natural as much as possible."

"When we were choosing our winner, we took time to really debate this, and really decide what was right for us as a group. We talked very much in detail about all our shortlisted entries. The one that we chose to win, it felt like they hit all of the targets that we had outlined. It just was a fantastic piece of work - to be able to do work for a brand, be commissioned by an agency, and still be able to retain such authenticity and spontaneity within the images really captivated us and made us feel that this one was meant to win above everyone else."
