Representing the very best of professional Photographers we are delighted to unveil the nominated entries from all our finalists.
The judges said:
The Association of Photographers (AOP) unveils the work of finalists of its 37th Photography Awards (first launched in 1984), praising the overwhelming sense of irrepressible talent that stands out from each of the 319 finalist images, despite the constraints of the pandemic lockdown.
Hot on the heels of the recent announcement of the Emerging Talent Award winners, the AOP is delighted to share further examples of exceptional photography from professionals at the top of their game.
A total of 949 still and moving images were submitted to the Awards, of which finalist numbers for each category are: Food & Drink 16; Documentary 12; Lifestyle 10; Environment 7; Fashion & Beauty 13; Sport (new category) 15; Project 5; Portrait 23; Still Life & Object 14.
The judges, from respected industries, were each delighted to see the fresh ideas, creativity and technical excellence demonstrated in their associated area of expertise, making judging all the more challenging in deciding this year’s overall winners from such a high standard of submitted entries.
The Gold and Silver winners of each category, along with the those for the AOP Open Award, will be announced at live the AOP Awards Showcase Evening on Wednesday, 20 April 2022, at an event in London from 7:00-11:00pm.
Videos by category will be issued shortly so that you can see the nominated images.
Our thanks to all those who entered the 37th AOP Photography Awards, and to all our Sponsors and Supporters for helping us celebrate the exceptional community that is the Association of Photographers.
